Licensed Practical Nurses

Wisconsin Board of Nursing does not require continuing education for LPNs at this time.
Registered Nurses

Wisconsin Board of Nursing does not require continuing education for RNs at this time.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

APRNs are required to complete 16 contact hours of continuing education every 2 years.

14 of the 16 contact hours must be on clinical pharmacology or therapeutics relevant to area of practice

2 of the 16 contact hours must be on responsible prescribing of controlled substances
